Over the summer of 2017, specifically from May until late August, I had an internship with Northwest Passage LTD, which is essentially a youth rehabilitation center. As a film production intern, my role in their company was to help document their trips to different locations, the kid’s work, and their progress at NWP. I also had the opportunity to work one-on-one with these at-risk children and help them make their own poetry and videos, as well as help them in their photography skills. Over the term of four months at Passage, I curated an immense amount of work for the company and I really think I helped them grow in my efforts. With that said, here is what I have to show from my experience there.
Build a Pathway to Hope
Make a lasting tribute to family and friends through the brick fundraising campaign sponsored by Northwest Passage. Brick by Brick, Building a Pathway to Hope, allows individuals to purchase laser engraved bricks for installation at the In a New Light Gallery, Webster, WI. Bricks purchased will fund our photography program for at-risk kids at Northwest Passage.
Bricks will continue to be sold until all spaces are filled. Brick orders are placed September 1 and March 1 of each year.
